So this evening I decided it was a great idea to open up my hifi. About one second after the front fell out I realised I really don't have a clue about electrics. I did find though I have two (red and black) phono cables coming from amp to turntable. Means that a gutting of the turntable and replacement with a suitably sized turntable will be nice and easy...he says confidently.
